Rubba Dub Dub its time for a scrub. Rafiki Records invites all interested parties to step up to the crease and show us how to make a DubStep hit.
The prize? The top three tracks will be sold on our website with profits* going to the Network 4 Africa Regeneration Music School project.
The rules? Produce a remix that captures the sounds and styles used in Rafiki Records tracks. Submissions should be posted at the Rafiki Remix Competition Dropbox. Unofficial rule, please retweet/share this with anyone that would be interested.
The tools? Submissions must include at least one sample from the samples that will be supplied below. Credit should be given to mixes that capture the sound and styles of Rafiki tracks.
Samples will be made available below on Tue, 27th Apr 2010 at 8 p.m BST. Submitted tracks will be made public at the Rafiki Remix Competition Group on the Tue, 11th May 2010 at 5 p.m BST. , at which point voting may commence. Ranking will be based on soundcloud heart to plays count as it stands on Tue, 18th May 2010 at 8 p.m. BST.
